Straight No Chaser Photos

My Mother passed away in 2002 at the age of 98. I have few pictures as an adult with my mother. My Dad died in 1965 when I was 18 and I became the person behind the camera. So this is it. This is 1949. I had just been adopted. My parents had wanted children for so long, but life kept getting in the way. They cared for both of my Mom's Parents and in 1949 were finally at a place where they could adopt. They were 46 and I was 3. They took me on a trip to Mississippi. Here we are looking at the Gulf. My Mom was my best friend, and I have lots of pictures of her with her friends, my friends, and my sisters, but none of she and I. She was the most loving, non-judgmental person I have ever know. I was blessed to have been adopted by John and Sally Pearson.
