Do you have any concerts planned in the New England area?
When are you coming to the K.C. area? I heard where you were coming to Lawrence Kansas. Although I am not a Jayhawk fan I am a SNC fan. I'll be there. Just need to know when to get tickets.
b>Yay! Really excited about the EP and the CD! Hope you come close to Dayton!
I hope y'all will make a swing down south to Mississippi. The Jackson, MS area is surprisingly cultured, being one of only four cities in the world to host the International Ballet Competition, and I think you would go over great! I have been spre...
We're with Dave - frustrated waiting for what is surely an awesome album. I blame Atlantic for dragging their feet. Clearly they haven't dealt with the uniqueness of a Capella before. Years ago, my brother produced an album for Badfinger. Awesome ...
oh,,,,,then great idea!!! you are so much smarter then me :o) Dave
I didn't ask for "cheep" tickets (or even cheap). For one thing, I don't think they'll be playing the Fairgrounds in Indy, and even if they did, the poultry barn wouldn't be close enough to hear them from the Grandstand. (Let's hope at least the I...
Thanks for asking S, I was afraid to ask for cheep tickets. I thought if I had, they would put me in the nose bleed section (lol). :o)

Clips from the DVD, posted on YouTube, received over 8 million views, sparking the group to reunite and sign a deal with Atlantic Records.

Favorite SNC College Memory: I loved it when we’d appear at other college invitational concerts for the first time, where no one had ever heard us before. My favorite in particular was at University of Michigan.

Musical Influences: Dave Matthews Band, Jamiroquai, Ben Folds, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Paul Simon, Peter Gabriel, Sting, Seal, Billy Joel, Van Morrison, James Taylor, CSN&Y, INXS, Brian McKnight, Musiq, Raul Midon, Coldplay, David Gray, Frank Sinatra, George Michael, Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke, Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, Thelonious Monk, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Jendrix, Blood Sweat & Tears, Fleetwood Mac, The Kingston Trio, The Real Group, The King’s Singers, and the list never stops…

Favorite Songs to Perform Live: This Is How We Do It, Worlds Apart, Straight No Chaser, Hi-De-Ho

Favorite Place You’ve Travelled: One place I never get tired of is Snowmass/Aspen, Colorado.

Favorite Things in General:

What Magazines/Periodicals do you read consistently? I read the news online daily, but the only actual magazines I subscribe to are Car&Driver, and Automobile Magazine.

Name Your Top 5 Favorite:
Foods: I like simple foods: steak, potatoes, chicken, pizza, burgers, salads, the easy stuff. I do like Chinese food, Mexican food, and Italian dishes like chicken parmesan, but I've never been a fan of seafood. I love fresh fruit, and I do have a weakness for chocolate.

Books: I read occasionally, but I think because I was forced to read so much in school, I stopped seeing reading as relaxing. I own plenty of books, most of which I’ve never read, either because I’m too busy or they never caught my interest.

Movies: I love movies, I even have a projector screen in my condo, but it’s hard to pick all-time favorite movies. If I wasn’t in music, I’d want to be working in movies, behind the camera.

Television: Scrubs, Flight Of The Conchords, Entourage, 30 Rock, Top Gear, Seinfeld, The Simpsons, SNL, The Office, and there is always something interesting on Discovery/History/TLC/A&E

Songs: “#41” by Dave Matthews Band, “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds, “Mercy Street” by Peter Gabriel, "America" by Paul Simon, “And It Stoned Me” by Van Morrison, and almost every bass line by Jamiroquai.

It's about time for an update!

Hello out there! It's been awhile since any of us have given an update on the world of SNC, so I figured it was about time I wrote something! After spending this past January and February in NYC, recording and rehearsing new songs, we are all now back in our respective cities (Atla… Continue

A Year of SNC

On December 30th, 2007, I received a message on YouTube from a rather cryptic username, which read:

I am at Atlantic Records. Love to speak.
Can you send a phone number?

Who was this? Was it legit, or was it someone pretending to be at Atlantic Records? Or if it was someone there, was it someone with any power? Hesitantly, I replied to the e-mail with my e-mail address and phone number.

I was wary about all of these e-mails through YouTube; keep in mind, I had received a lot of weird m… Continue

Hopefully we can maintain that type of momentum as we head into the true season of 'Holiday Spirits' in the next few weeks!

We just posted our December concert dates here, so click to find out where you might be able to see us live at a venue near you. Keep an e… Continue

One Week until Holiday Spirits is released!

We can't believe that we're just a week away from the release of our first major label album release.

Thanks to all of you who have been ordering the album and spreading the word about SNC to your friends. Without the support of our families, friends, and fans, we wouldn't be in the amazing position we're in. The overwhelming support on YouTube let us record and release a new album, and your continuing support for the album itself will allow us to keep moving forward, potentially giving us the… Continue

Randy,

Question for you if you have a minute.

Last year, another web site had songs for sale that I downloaded to my computer. Due to an unfortunate computer crash I've lost those songs.
Are you guys going to make them available again? If you already have, can you point me to where they are so that I can grab them up.

Congrats on the album. I bought several as gifts and everyone loves them.

Thanks
Tracie

Hey Randy,

Good seeing you again on Monday and Great show!
You guys definitely deserve all the success and I'll make sure to keep up on the latest. It's good to see another Naperville guy make it!

If/when you ever make it back out to SF, don't hesitate to drop me a line. I'll be happy to play host however you need it!

Talk soon.

Randy - Hi. I am a friend of Jerome's (Kara & I were roommates at IU) -- met you all at MacNivens after Jingle Jam -- I have so enjoyed following SNC this month!! It makes me smile from ear-to-ear. Just watched the DC show - great! I wanted to leave you a note (because Jerome is horrible at keeping up, I dont know how he makes it on time to your performances) and suggest that you all hookup with Sixthman productions and find your way onto the "Mayercraft" cruiseship in March. It's John Mayer's gig and he brings along a handful of up-and-coming artists to perform nonstop. Would be great PR (and, would be a blast too!)

So Randy, how many albums (and iTune download equivalents) have you guys sold so far? I heard the ABC News segment generated another surge in album sales - that's great. I'm still wondering when Atlantic is going to broker an appearance on Leno or Letterman...

Good Luck to you all,
Thom

Randy - You guys were awesome last night in SF. I hope all went well in LA. I asked my IU friends back in South Bend about sink the bismark - and they clued me in - and promised to 'teach' me when I get back in town. Hopefully we can find some tickets to take the family to see you all in Indy on Saturday. Keep of the amazing work and safe travels.

Just discovered No Straight Chaser yesterday...already a fan, member and promoting the group gratis, lol. I love "This is How We Do It." It is my favorite, but now I read you perform "Let's Stay Together" and I will be searching for it...hoping it is available! Can't wait to receive the music I ordered. Thank you, your presense and demeanor is captivating this fan.
